This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Sorry if some of my recent photos could be considered pornographic. I've seen many nudes on deviantART and had no idea there would be such a problem with mine. This was my first nude photography session and thought I'd find some good advice for future opportunities. I appreciate all who side with me, and yet fully understand those who feel many of my photos should be pulled. I have already filtered out the more risqué ones. I am compelled to point out that this girl's original wishes were to have explicit photos of herself taken to use as profile photos for attracting other women. I insisted on taking more artistic shots and thus had to make a compromise. As you can see in the numbering sequence I omitted many photos which she desired and tried to show only the ones I felt were less pornographic and more of intrigue and beauty. Know that there is no reason to ban me. I have no problem pulling a photo out if the admins have a problem with it.
The porn link in ur journal was pretty cool but unfortunately about half of them seemed like someone bumbed the camera. If u've got such an opportunity to take shots like that... take ur time or just submit the clear ones...

Prudes? Holier than thou? We're not here to bitch coz some woman is naked, we're here to keep the community clean. A quote from the OFFICIAL dA policy on nudity:
"NO SEXUAL THEMES. This means no displays of sexual acts of any kind, no displays of masturbation"
Now look at [link] and tell me what you see. Uh huh, a policy violation. oh and this quote:
"NO GRATUITOUS NUDITY This is a vague guideline, but in essence we are actively encouraging the submission of 'artistic' nudes and not simple shots of naked people. Your nude submission should obviously possess some artistic merit as judged by the administration. Most deviations which are classified as gratuitous are those in which the only evident purpose of the photograph is to display a person’s penis, testicles, vagina, breast, nipples, or buttocks." hmm so what is [link] and [link] about eh?
I don't take offense at these photos, but dA is a community site, as such explicit things are not what you want your kids to see. A lot of people here are under 18, and some browse with parents. Check out the meaning of Opinion and tell me, when you use 'I' and 'in MY OPINION' in a comment, does that mean that the person speaks on behalf of everyone? nope. This is just someone's personal opinion.
btw those random shots of condoms were to promote AIDS awareness. There is far worse art being submitted to dA, like blurry, amature snapshops of people at a party where there was no lighting, not to mention the countless doodles that people draw, of anime, which they think is of a decent quality. Art is art to them, and it varies from person to person what art is to them.
